Construction page moved
June 15th 2010
So here it is the final design of the website. I've moved the construction page so that everyone can have a glimpse at this magnificent piece of work. Just before anyone asks, no the menu doesn't work yet. It's intended that way.
Anyway, the next step is to make the member login functional.

CodeIgniter Implemented
June 14th 2010
For the past week, I've been integrating the website in CodeIgniter and I'm finally done. I had a couple of issues, especially with the sub-domains that had to be in the same application pool and have their separate controllers. But now, joseph.passineau.ca, mia.passineau.ca and shanny.passineau.ca, are entirely functional.
The next step is to move the construction page in the real website interface.
Again, if anyone is interested in seeing the website, please contact me.

Feedback - Redesign
May 5th 2010
So I've shown the prototype of the website to several person and got some good feedback. So, I decided to re-work the design a little bit. For the past 2 days I've been rebuilding from A to Z the website layout and design and it now looks better then ever. Most of you will never have a chance to see the first prototype, but let me just say that it was okay, but not has awesome has the new one. Anyone who wants to see the website prototype can E-mail and I'll let them know how to see it.
Next step: Integrating CodeIgniter.

Login Form and a B-day
May 3rd 2010
Last week I have been busy with work but I manage to put some time on my website. I've fixed some javascript code and decided to re-do the login form. The login is almost finish on a graphic level and I will soon start coding the authentification and password recovery.
One thing I've encoutered while doing the login is that Microsoft has yet again decived me. This time, not only with their Internet Explorer 6, but with the 7 and 8. Apperently, you cannot fade-in and fade-out png images without IE making all kind of nice artifacts. The good construction_news is that I've tested IE9 and it seems to have been fixed with the implemantation of directX in the browser. I had no choice but to remove some nice special effects on my site.
In other construction_news, it's my dad's B-day, so here it is: Happy Birthday Dad. Hope you have a nice one.

Site Creation
April 13th 2010
Finaly I had time to put my website online. Even if its not finish at all, it's live. I've already finished designing the website and my next step is to integrate it in CodeIgniter. I have no idea when I'll have time to work on it, but hopefully I will be able to finish it for this year. I currently have about 4 other website that I'm developping and it's taking alot of my time, you can ask my family if you don't believe me. Here is a brief description of what my website will be about.
Anybody that have any suggestions, comments or simply wants to say hi, e-mail me.
-
First, its going to be a website portal for my family. My familly member's will all have their own website with there own topics, menu and subjects. The main website will be about the family, where pictures, video and other information will be available.
-
Second, you will be able to vistit a members website where you will be able to find what they decided to share. For example: projects, C.V and anything else they want.
-
Third, member family and friends will all have accounts created for them to be able to gain access to privilege information that we don't want to share publicly.
-
Fourth, the site is probably going to be only in english, since I don't want to bother translating everything and espacialy don't want to use a translating tool.
Anybody that have any suggestions, comments or simply wants to say hi, e-mail me.
